The FEP film is a transparent foil that consists of two layers and is installed in the rack attached to the resin tank. Its
purpose is to enable the UV light to cure the liquid resin effectively throughout the printing process. However, it is important to replace the FEP film if it becomes bent, deformed, or perforated during printing or while operating the printer. Failure to replace the damaged film can result in unsuccessful prints. Minor scratches and smudges on the surface of the FEP film do not affect the printing quality. Therefore, if your printer starts producing low-quality objects and you observe signs of wear on the FEP film that cannot be removed, follow the instructions in the manual to replace the film.
